I'm afraid I cannot identify the groups you have seen HTML in from descriptions like "stationary newsgroup"; "creatures game newsgroup" and "a number of newsgroups". Are you perhaps referring to the K12 hierarchy of newsgroups which is specifically for schools? Or perhaps groups on Fidonet or Bulletin Boards rather than Usenet newsgroups? Bye,
