it is all down to the javascript.dll version/date/issue_no
.. most of the 32bit dll files for Ie3 seem to be fixed to proportional
font that i've tried ...
also there seem to be different Ie3 distribution sets too since i have
three versions of the Win3.1 Ie3.01 above ... one of which has
proportional font and the other is jscript crippled
