Like anyone else who has been active in the usenet thing for a while, I've 
been through this argument a thousand times before.  The conclusion that 
I've come to is that no one will ever win this war.  There will always be 
two sides to it, and that's just the way that it is.  I see both sides as 
having valid points.  I choose top-posting, because it makes for easier 
reading (regardless of news client configuration).  Actually, in response to 
a post such as yours, I'm typically more likely to inline-post, but I 
forgot.  :]
