IInstead of removing ASCII-pics that aren't displayed as should on that BBC-website, you (not just Henry, but "you" as a group) could try to explain to these folks (webmasters etc.) how to display ASCII-art properly on a webpage. (guess: the <PRE> tags aren't working, because --thru CSS-- all chars are forced proportional) (ASCII-art is not just the first pictorial form of art in the digital era. It has proven to be an efficient, smart way to transport ideas, when language fails. Compositions of ASCII-art transcend dry, serial, procedural words and sentences and become rich, parallel, associative images. And it's still 7 bit.
