RecArtsAscii is now defunct.  Don Bertino took over as moderator with
Allen
Mullen as his backup.  Allen changed ISPs and was no longer able to get
to the newsgroups... (notice he hasn't posted here in a long while?)  Don
Bertino posted sporadically until last December- sometimes posts were
2-3 weeks late and then stopped all together... I heard something about an
illness and computer troubles.... I don't think that the newsgroup fizzled
out
from lack of posts.  The posts were not forwarded to the newsgroup.  Try
posting now... nothing will happen.  There are no posts-  they are piling
up
in Don Bertino's mailbox-- or wherever they go beyond that...  Don still
has
a website.  If someone is interested in resurrecting the other newsgroup,
perhaps you might want to contact him through the website.  It is listed
on
the grand list of links: http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/2695/links.htm
(which Allen Mullen still maintains and updates regularly)
