Storing of ascii-art

Storing of ascii-art

Hello ascii-friends!
What are some good methods to store email-received ascii-pictures
in a way that I can paste them into my email-texts? Directly, of
course, not as attachment. I think of keywords like clipboard, new
file and converting. Am I on the right way? Thank you in advance
for your hints (in English, German, French or Italian).
Pierre from Binningen near Basel, Switzerland.
