If you want to be _that_ differentiating, my dear, then by the same token you
ought to declare your (and others') website an html art website. 

But I am sure that you won't do that, you will keep calling the html exhibits
ascii art, ha ha ha!

The above two paragraphs fail to recognize that text and text characters as
such are computer codes, and as such are not immediately visible to the human
eye. 

These codes are made visible by displaying them in a variety of media, such as
.txt (i.e. your beloved Notepad) or .doc or .gif etc etc etc

These media render the code on their own, no medium is rendering any other medium.

Quite different indeed, and irrelevant as well.
