Myabe I should be more precise. When I said 8x8, I really meant "not
too big".

The area available for the player and loot and suchlike is about 50
characters by 22 characters, so I could include a pretty large ascii
art, but it seems to work better with many smaller ones. Here is the
output from the game, one of the rooms:

Monster X, in Park , it's  Hour 14 / Tick 32

In this room:
* Ross God
* Monster X
* Oak Tree
* Iron Shield         Take
* Leather Armor       Take

So, the smaller the better. The chests you sent are quite good, an
nice rounded improvement on my boxy one.

Thanks for the help!

Diane.

P.S. Someone else wrote in about RougeLike game development (is that a
game with makeup?) but after looking it over, the rouge model seems
not well suited for an HTML based game. But thanks anyhow!
