I know its a major sin but until today I had never read any one of the
FAQs through, even my skimming was pretty quick.  Just by reading the
postings to the group as I put in my lurker time I was able to pick up
on the "rules" for the group and ascii art. 

Because I know I can not be the only one out there I would suggest a
condensed, simplified version of the FAQ be posted regularly. It could
be posted with the main FAQ or it could alternate with it. The Ten
Commandments would give lazy lurkers some idea of how things work
without straining their attention spans, etc.
