There are more than 30,000+ newsgroups so a list of 65 is miniscule.

It is said that one can only do full justice to 12 groups per day.

Therefore you could read 84 newsgroups effectively once per week
( only selecting the articles you really wanted to read of course ).

To read all the 30,000 systematically it would take some 2,500 days
or 6 years and 310 days.

I think one person actually does do something like that and he comes
around again every couple of years.  :-)
