In case I didn't make that absolutely clear, any picture I've ever posted on the web or usenet is free game if you or anyone else wants to publish it. Just keep the sig intact. My web page says more or less the same thing, and I believe this to be fairly common among ascii artists in general, though many only allow noncommercial use without explicit permission. Asking never hurts, anyway. As for recommending other people's pictures, there's so much good art out there to make it hard to choose or even remember all the choices, but Shanaka Dias and Hayley Jane Wakenshaw come to mind as authors of several suitable pics, IMHO.
