Hmm. These pictures look good in Arial, but Arial is not the font to use.
Use some fixed width font, one that will have the lines below line up:

 Line Up  \/

iiiiiiiiii |

Arial won't line up, but a fixed-width font, such as Courier New or
FixedSys, will. Then they will show up correctly.
