True. I have been considering moving both Mail and News in this way. I
don't know why I can't quite do it yet. :)

Interesting! I'm usually tidy with my home, but the recent new internet
connection means I have gone in to upgrade overdrive. (Tar balls 
everywhere). 

It usally has just these dirs:
bin/ devel/ doc/ Mail/ News/ src/

>     183

mark ~$ ls -a | wc -l
    186

Sounds like a good idea. I may move Mail/ and News/ yet. :)
