Welcome back, oh ye of many questions! (I numbered them.)

I will answer what I consider to be the most imperative ones. (ie: to
which I know the answers)

4) Spammers are NOT gone. They are still diligently sending out huge
volumes of useless junk. I would not recommend that you use your real
address when posting to the newsgroup.

5) I think Colin, Krogg and I are the only ones who post ontopic
articles. There are occasionally ones from others but sadly it is mostly
the idiots who imagine that we are interested to hear about their sad
schemes.

6) No.

7) Poor thing. I think somebody forgot to feed her her daily portions of
miaow-mix. You know how cats get when they're hungry.

And in keeping with your excellent candle to keep things sort of on
topic, here is a drawing of how I torture my cat:

   _ _ |> |>[ [ |\ |/
  ( (_ |\ |\[ [ |-\|\ _
  _) | \ //
       _|_,^%--- ha //
   =#-(_X_) \ ha /\_/\ //
       \/ > ha (@.@ )_.-._//
       ___>,^ > C < .-. )

NOTE: If you hit the reply button, add an "e" to the "freent";
its absense is to stop the torment of automatic mailers.
