This whole request issue seems to have become quite an important
point to a lot of people. Remember that a.a-a will still be here,
will still be unmoderated, and will still be read by a lot of people.
Secondly, although I cant quote the CFV text since I haven't got it
handy, I'm pretty sure that requests were going to be posted?! It
was just the frequently requested pics which the moderator might choose
to send straight to the postee. For example, the globe.vt posting -
when it appeared, that was quite literally requested HEAPS of times
inside a couple of weeks (and it was a big file). There would be no
harm in the moderator sending either the file or an FTP site once
the number of requests reaches a certain point.

It's not necessarily a case of "spectacular art" unfortunately (with
a few noted exceptions such as Meriday (in the morning)). It's more
likely to be a case of a) a popular character, or b) people hear/see
mention of something which they missed, or didn't bother saving.

The FAQ would be very informative to any new subscribers. The FTP sites
with ascii art are a BRILLIANT supply of all types of pics, so anyone
with a request would probably die to find such stores. If the person
doesn't have FTP access, then they could just point it out to the
moderator and the post would possibly go through. But there was talk
of automating the moderation process a bit, so people could actually
get files via email. Any news on that Bob?

>++++++ In fact I voted YES but now I'm not so sure. Does anyone know
>the procedure for changing your vote?

Simply vote again except with the NO in place of the YES. You can change
your mind as often as you like up until the dealine (whenever that is).
I'm not fussed whether people vote YES or NO, just as long as they do
what they think is best.
