Perhaps my system misinterpreted some of the non-ASCII characters. That's the problem with posting the alt-characters on USENET and in email -- Was this hand-made or conversion program? If hand, you may want to use another character instead of the "$" -- many readers pick it up as spam and dump your post into the trash before anyone gets to see it. BTW, your foul-mouthed reply to Veronica was truly uncalled for. I've been with this newsgroup since 1995- VK has been a long-time contributor-- she knows what she is doing. Perhaps she was crass in her response to you-- but keep in mind that we see posts like yours ...so... often. This is an ASCII art newsgroup (hence the name, alt.ascii-art)- we expect posts to be in ASCII -- not some variant text code. There are other NGs for that. We also expect that newcomers to the NG will follow proper net-etiquette and read the group's FAQ. I know, presumptuous on our part. -joan -- , .--'|} / /}} .=\.--'`\} //` '---./` joan stark || /| spu...@juno.com \\| | |\_\\/ ASCII ART GALLERY: \__/\\ http://www.ascii-art.com \\ jgs \|
