   Technically, I imagine that posting anything originating with somebody
else requires permission.  But in practice, I don't think anybody would
post a sig to the world and then carp because it was reposted as an
example of a sig.

   I would say that reposting of a sig that was originally posted to a
news group is probably fine until proven otherwise.  As for email sigs, the
first poster said to cut out the personl info.  That may be enough.
