Uh... what following characters? Most of them look like exclamation marks, on
my newsreader. I presume that they are extended characters, however. Well, I like
the extendeds, myself. The problem with them, however, is that not everybody can
see them on their system, and even those who can, don't always see the same things.
Currently, only your actual keyboard characters are plain text askee characters. It
would be nice if the extended characters travelled as far and as well as the actual
ascie ones, but until they do, and are included in the ascii character list, I suppose
we shall mostly have to avoid them. It's not that we don't like 'em; it's just that
they don't travel.
