I for one suggest, the second option and pay as you go. I > hope you don't give up, but I'm sure you are stressing from all this > by now. I think kangaroo should post a call for submissions, where people can submit their artwork. Once people read your terms, and aggree to them, the copyright laws will be in your favor. Just put a text box on your page where people can submit their ASCII art, and a clearly labled link saying something like "By submiting ASCII art for use in this program, you state that you have read and understood these _terms_and_conditions_. If you do not aggree to these terms, do not submit your art. Only submit your own art, or art which the auther has given you specific permission to submit." Speaking of legal "Male bovine excrement", I guess I need to put: I am not a lawer, nor do I intend to offer legal advice. For legal advice, please consult an attorney. Errrrrgh.... Also, if you want my opinon of the unisys GIF patent....... -- --ran...@slip.net (Randy Gardner) --http://www.slip.net/~randyg/index.htm - *New* Download a maze program that lets you actually walk *inside* the maze!!
