The GIF to ASCII is eany, there are a number of them. As to PCX, I would guess you'd have to use some kind of viewer on your platform to convert PCX to GIF, then use a GIF to ASCII converter. My ftp.wwa.com has some converters in pub/Scarecrow in the Gifscii and Misc folders. Also see the ASCII ART FAQ for further info on obtaining these converters, and on using them.
