I tested the site in Opera and some Mozilla based browsers (e.g. Firebird). > Could you modify the stylesheet to specify the font size so it looks right ? Specifying font sizes is bad, imho. You can't possibly foresee the different environments your visitors use. It's much better style to let them choose their own fonts and font sizes in their browsers preferences. > Also a tip .. some people prefer a different font for viewing ascii-art. > With alternate stylesheets you can give the visitor a choice between fonts (and > all other styles if you wish) I thought of that. However, since I drew my pictures in 'Courier New' (and think that they look best with that font), I decided to let the ASCII pictures display with the same font. For people who don't have that font installed I specified the alternative 'monospaced', which I think is perfectly acceptable behaviour. > Modern browsers support this. > [...] > You could put another viewfont in this .. or choose to display white on black. That may be a nice feature if you maintain a site which is visited regularly. However, it's just a gimmick and I don't think there'd be many people who would appreciate this. You may of course prove me wrong. ;) ob-ASCII: _)/_ (_' < )(_ ,--.''-`'. :.' : =- : |: | ._|]| |____|_____| /.:. /-_-_/ (.:: / |=| `--' |=| |=| SSt > Christian :) Sebastian :) -- _ _ _ _ _ .---------------------------.
