Sorry to jump in on this but I would like some clarification please.

I have never done one bit of ASCII art in my life. Never tried it. But
one day, some one sent me about 100 files on mIRC of pics. Most of them
did not have any initials on them or any credit given to any artist. 

I have never claimed to have done any of them. Also, there are a few
pics here that I really like and would like to use, and of course would
NEVER take the credit for them or delete the artists initials.

Am I allowed to use stuff from here if I leave the initials? How about
the stuff I got on mIRC? Do I need to put a small disclaimer on what I
use, saying that I did not create them?

I know that these might sound like silly questions, but I would never
disrespect the talent that creates some of this wonderful stuff, and
would be majorly pissed off if someone did it to me.
