Look at Samir Bhatia... He took the money for Hotmail, when he sold it to Microsoft. He made his COOL BUCK$ and then he tried a NEW VENTURE AIMED specifically towards MICRO$OFT TO BUY... HE FELL FLAT, had to shut it down But, he made his money initially, the next venture was funded by a few so HIS PERSONAL losses were minimal... Great Plains (An Accounting software) was bought over by M$... Visio... the list goes on... All said and done...
