	Makes sense.  A friend once came to my door to take me out. My
father was coming down the hall as I put my shoes on and the cat 
bitched/whined at him for food when she'd just eaten.  He replied, "Shut
up, cat!"  My friend laughed and my father poked his head around the
corner in surprise.

telling the cat to shut up, no... her nickname is Shahduppkatt -- see?"
