I don't use dos, so I'm no expert on this. If somebody can send this
to me, I will put the two together in a .zip file or something.

I have a graphic display program DISP184.zip (from wuarchive.wustl.edu) which has go32 included with it. Hope this helps.

go32.exe is the 32 bit processor that comes with display, the AVI viewing
program. I have a version of gifscii that runs fine I am putting into my
ftp directory tonight ftp.netcom.com /pub/vandal/ascii. So if you are
having problems with gifscii, that version should work also ascgif is
there so, if gifscii won't work ascgif will...I run gifscii on a
386/sx/25 so It should run on about any machine

Some folks have had problems using Gifscii on DOS. From what I've
heard, a copy of go32.exe needs to be included with Gifscii for DOS. I'm
looking to get that to include with Gifscii for DOS on the ftp site here.

In the meantime, a Vandal said he had a copy of Gifscii that worked on
DOS at his ftp site. So I picked up a copy and put it on my ftp site.
It's called DOSGifscii21.exe and it in the pub/Scarecrow/Gifscii folder
here at ftp.wwa.com, so tell me if it works.
