I'm working on an ASCii Animation Compiler and I'm looking for any tips,
tricks, or techniques others have found for speeding up the display rates
of ASCii Animation. I'm restricting the control codes to those that are
identical in VT-100 and ANSI so no colors.

I've added two speed-up techniques:

1) Using the Delete-to-End-of-Line ^[K code when there is nothing but spaces
left on the next frame in a given line and characters still exist on
the current frame for that line.

2) Not using the Move-Cursor-N-Right code when just outputting the characters
already in the place to be moved past would take less space.

The first technique gave me a 10% increase and the second gave me a 9.2%
increase for a combined increase of 17% effective.

That's a pretty good increase but does anyone know any other techniques to
 speed it up even further?
