send your GSM number in international format and you own Nokia 5110,
6110, or 6150,

Lets see...

Size: 14 rows x 70 columns (exactly)
Useful ascii characters: ?
Other useful characters: ? (this is for use in a very special
situation, so "pure" ascii may not
                              be a requirement(?))
Motif: ? ? ? ?
Text that should appear in the pictures: ? ? ? ?
Anything else: ?

(What do you mean by "only blocks, not letters"?)

About the "useful characters" bit, are any of these characters NOT
useful in your situation?

Are there any characters you _can_ use for those phones that are not in
the table above?

About the text bit:
Name? Phone number? Email address? Homepage URL? etc...?
(Any text that should be in the picture. You can't do a layout that
small if you don't know what text to fit into that layout...)

i believe that the case is actually not about blocks, but about pixels...

so its 14x70 pixels, for a picture...

so, it's kind of a miniaturized ascii, without the letters, but dots instead
of theme...

i'm not quite sure, but i think this is the case...

With BBSs you can display high ASCII characters (like those able to be
produced in TheDraw or ACiDVIEW), some of those characters are blocks (the same
kind of blocks that can be used in ANSI pics).
But just using blocks, 14x70 is very restricting, and anything you do will
look very elongated, unless the half blocks were assumed by the original
poster. The blocks take up an entire space for where each letter would be.
Imagine these H's all touching and making one continuous ladder.

     That's another possible suggestion?
