Can I use the UNIX figlet's .flf font files with the DOS figlet, without any conversions or changes other than some filename.ext name changes? David Mussulman
David Mussulman speaking: > Can I use the UNIX figlet's .flf font files with the DOS figlet, > without any conversions or changes other than some filename.ext name > changes? I've never had any trouble. However, note that Figlet version 2.1 has slightly different files than version 2.0 -- that has nothing to do with DOS or UNIX, just the version. The chief difference is that in 2.1 you can specify more characters. They're still pretty much compatible though, I think. (To find out what version of Figlet you're running, type "figlet -I1" and divide the resulting number by 10000 (if you just get an error, you're running version 2.0).) ,adPPY ,adPPY ,adPPYba, a8" a8 a a8 a "8a Peter Samuelson 8b 8 d8 8 d8 d8 <psa...@hmc.edu> "8a, ,a8' ,a8' ,a8" <pjs...@cs.twsu.edu> `"YbbdP"' bbdP"' bbdP"'
