Hi all,
I just get to know about ASCII. Can anyone guide me how to key an ASCII into
microsoft words? Take for example a subscript 2. Moreover, I came across a
chart that says subscript 2 should key &#178 but I just can't get it. Please
help..... Thank you.

Stan, I think you may be on the wrong newsgroup here.

If I understand correctly, you want to place special characters into an MS Word
document by referencing the character's ASCII value.  From the MS Word menu,
select Insert/Field/Equations and Formulas/Symbol.  In the box, after SYMBOL,
type in the ASCII number, for example,
                          SYMBOL 178
Then click OK.  It works.  Thanks for helping me learn something new.
