Okay three things,

1. Here's my tries at a sig sized SpaceGodzilla for ya:

     <7/`=
 ,|, ;/`.;,
  ;`,; /\
   `--'\|,

|. :. __--=\\
| `.: `. _\, |(\'`--.
J, '`.,`_\/ =,,,,,`/
 L \ `.-E' = /

2. You shouldn't post binaries to a non-binary newsgroup.
It's better to post a URL or something.

3. I figure a kaiju fan like yourself might enjoy these
piccies as well:

HI, hey thanks for the ascii of the other kaiju. Heh heh, I'm new to
'puters, and I know there's a "rule" for sig size, but I don't play by the
rules, so if he'd look better bigger please someone let me know. BTW, I
think there are problems trying to reach me. My emails are

That last one I currently have a large sig on. Thanks

The rule for sig size isn't nearly as strict as the one that says not to
post binaries in text-only newsgroups.

> but I don't play by the
> rules, so if he'd look better bigger please someone let me know.

1. Find out what the rules are.
2. Find out why the rules are.
3. Consider the consequences of breaking them.
4. Decide wether or not to break them.

You haven't passed the first of those stages yet, so you shouldn't even
be thinking about breaking them.

Rule: Binaries to text groups.
1. Don't.
2. They take up much more space than text posts.
   Good alternatives exist:
   * Put the picture on the web and post the URL here.
   * Post the picture to alt.binaries.pictures.ascii
3. Some servers filter out such posts so many people won't see
them at all. Some of them may even go to the trouble of
sending an abuse complaint to your ISP, wich could eventually
lead to you losing your account.
Some servers don't filter out such posts, with the result that
other posts get "pushed over the edge" too quickly.
4. This one you should decide not to break.

Rule: Sig size.
1. Most newsgroups: 4 lines x 80 columns.
alt.ascii-art: a little bigger is OK if it contains ascii art.
troll groups: the bigger the better (but use some common sense
e.g. use battle sigs less often than PC sigs or
you will end up annoying the good guys as well as
                 the idiots).
2. Smaller sigs take up less memory. There is also the "human
factor" that says it's irritating to scroll past the same long
sig again and again and again and again. Of course, you should
use a correctly formed sig separator (yours isn't, btw) so that
those people can set their news readers to not show the sigs.
3. You get flamed for wasting server space and for being generally
   loud and annoying.
4. Use bigger than Politically Correct sigs if you are a troll
looking for a fight. The only known exception is alt.ascii-art
where sigs bigger than 4x80 are on-topic if they contain pictures.

> BTW, I
> think there are problems trying to reach me. My emails are
> Des...@gte.net or
> rga...@luna.cas.usf.usf

Then I suggest you set up your newsreader to use one of those addresses
instead of the broken one you have now.

PMFJI, but your sig delimeters aren't either - they are also missing
the trailing space. If this is to blame on the editor you are using or
on the newsreader - I can't judge that...
If you are up to picking one's nose do it right ;) Sig delimeters
must be "\n-- \n" - with a trailing space after the two dashes. Most
editors cut that off, like netscape's html-editor - even if you are
posting only plain-text! You have to choose explicitly the plain-text
editor within netscapes messenger for not loosing that.

IIRC there is the speech that the newsreaders SHOULD permit using sigs
longer than 4 lines, or something like that. That 4 lines limit is a
SHOULD that MUST be interpreted as stated in the rfc2119, just FYI ;-))

 Have fun, anyway!

Yeah, that's right. Kaiju is just a more general term that can
be applied to any monster. If you wanted to be a bit more
specific you could say "daikaiju" which means "big monster."

Yes, I've checked. Stranegly slrn doesn't colorize her signatures -
that's why I thought her was missing the space (that's in 99.9% of the
cases the reason!).

Sorry, VK, I'll check where the problem might be, and maybe will get

Tnx for the rules.
P.S. Correct sword stance is weight centered and both feet flat, but these
have the flair demanded by the big screen. Using the underline makes the
guards difficult (could be --------( or ----===={ ); the broken lines for
blades can't be objectionable when the rest of the figures are in broken
lines. I don't really like my small o for the upper part (left), but couldn't
think of anything else quickly. BTW, the right one's swash isn't buckled,
shame, shame.
  Sri for fiddling.
