What!?!  Warez Dude was on the rescue mission with the rest of
the crew while the Evil Overlord was holding Mandy prisoner!  May
I refer to episode 277 when Warez Dude's absense is noted during
a meeting with the Overlord, only to be explained by his presence
in the alternate dimension.  Then, in #280, Warez Dude is present
for an encounter with the Overlord.  The following episode, #281,
the Overlord is established as being the *actual* Evil Overlord,
vice a mere hologram, as in previous episodes.  So, HOW THE BLOODY
DEVIL CAN WAREZ DUDE BE THE EVIL OVERLORD?!?!?

Unless...  it was a hologram of Warez Dude standing next to Dork
Girl in #280 and #281...

What, so suddenly Warez Dude can't be in two places at once? Despite
a story arc that spans two different dimensions? :)

It was clear to me that the warez dude being the evil overlord was the alternate dimension
warez dude. With Mandy being geeky and Nerd boy being mandy'ish , I would have reckoned
alternate Warez dude to be a nice guy .. at least he uses proper language.

In turns of plot however I find it rather weak.
If an alternate Warezdude was a nice guy he wouldn't be evil overlord now would he ?
And why would he kidnap Mandy if he already had a geeky mandy ?

It's confusing.

Not exactly. All Words Were Capitalized, After All.

So do I, but every time I get to the end of a story arc I seem to hit an
inevitable trade-off between plot and humour. It's quite frustrating, and
it's probably my own fault for not planning ahead.

Actually, I never said that it was the opposite dimension. Sure, it might
be less confusing if it was... :\

He stated quite clearly that he wanted the time machine. It's too bad that
I never got around to exploring -why- he wanted the time machine; he only
alluded to it a bit in NB263. Sheeit.. I just realized that this story arc
is 30 episodes long! :-O

Yes.. Apparently. Others have commented on that particular strip as good
and funny, so it might just be a matter of taste. I thought it was the
best I could come up with and that it served its purpose.
