ascii art should be watched in a fixed typeface, like andale monospace. however you completely miss out on the "adnocaig al" aspect emerging in proportional typefaces, like century gothic.

I wouldn't recoend Andale because it hasn't been distributed on Windows operating systems in over 7 years.
