Answer to the last "Guess This Airplane"

This was the XF-85 "Goblin", and experimental, parasite fighter carried
under a B-36 bomber.  Program was cancelled becuase of difficulty docking
back with the mother ship.

   I think I will retire from this game.  No one seems interested in ascii
airplanes.  I only got three emails from this one, and no one reposted to
it, even once.

Don't retire-- three emails is a lot--  I post often enough and very
rarely
do I get any responses... I'm sure people are enjoying your work...

Don't quit. you make some cool airplane pics, & I happen to love
aircraft. I answered you in rec.aviation.military. I guessed right
too. Well if you quit, you should still post a couple every now and
then.

Okay, I got two reposts and three emails instructing me not to quit "Guess
This Airplane".  I will post another one, as soon as I make it.  Maybe
tomorrow, if kids give me time.  I made cartoons, today.  Be assured,
however, that I will post another one, as soon as I can find a weird
airplane to make.
