Personally, I liked the colors in the post. I believe somebody mentioned
blinking eyes but I didn't/couldn't see that. Nonetheless, I think it
was pretty well done. I know I don't know how to do it.

I believe you are confused as your misquoting seems to indicate. I was
not at that point objecting to the use of the word, I was objecting
to the comment that its use should be ignored.
But if the concept you refer to is the same as that set forth in the
US Constitution, then it is not the freedom to say or write anything
you want, anywhere, or anytime. Laws exist against slander, libel,
threats against the President, arguing with arresting officers, etc.
Break them and you'll know the limits of your _Freedom of Speech_.
Freedom of speech protects political speech ONLY, generally offensive
or abusive language is not covered.

Again where do you get the idea that anyone has a right to such speech?
Let's not be too idealistic. Fundamentally, it is society that is
self-regulating. Here is the way it works. If it becomes important
enough to enough people that the Net be cleaned up, then it will be
or go away trying. And this is a good reason not to excessively bash
any self-appointed Net guardians for complaining about the filth.
They may, in fact, be allowing you to practice your particular
concept of FREEDOM OF SPEECH for a little bit longer than if they
just kept quiet and allowed inappropriate speech to flourish.
