I've some objections, though I don't think them strong.
All the suggestions lead to another look but not to
more information.

- what does it hurt if it still says alt.ascii-art
  everywhere?
- why should why hide the orgin of it? Alt.ascii-art
  brought it to life and provides it.
- changes should not be that fast. Let rec.arts.ascii
  grow or die or whatever and when there's a real need
  for further _information_, we can change the FAQ.

I don't go for make up.
