Daniel is to be thanked muchly for the work he has done at the license 
bureau.

The first sig I scratched together is my sloth-sig, I was inspired by the 
profile of a user on enviro-chat, "Kav", the story, as I recall goes:
In the Amazon rain forests young sloths grow up, hanging upside down in 
trees. They move slowly from branch to branch, occasionally an error is 
made, the sloth reaching out for a new hold grabs one of it`s own limbs!
The poor creature crashes to the forest floor, luckily a soft landing due 
to the rotting vegetation. Zoologists occasionaly find the bemused sloths 
on the ground, wondering what happened. This behaviour is known as 
"plumetting" (sp?)

I enjoy prowling the "talkers", they are often a good source of 
inspiration for text-art. At Mumu in the Labyrinth I came across this 
little fellow;

There is a really good tower, and accompanning story there, I may pinch 
it, and modify it as a Norman Keep for my father for x-mass, he has a 
thing for old Irish castles.

Somone did feet here, they are alot of fun, of course most seem to be of 
the entwined type doing the natural thing, e.g.   \ ll /

it only tells people my name is Donald, and I am a lousy dancer!

As a good environmentalist, I have been attempting eco-textart-sig-files,
It is very difficult I have discovered to convert the Green Party 
sunflower to text-art, however one symbol seemed a natural, the mobius 
strip symbol for the 3-Rs. I remind you all that the most importand of 
the 3 rs is REDUCE, the only thing that should be recycled is paper, and 
us on-line folk should have less of that!

The first mobius I drew was kind of simple, I may still use it as a 
punctuation mark, or perhaps a line of them across the screen....

I thought it was a bit big for a signature file, but a friend was 
impressed with it, and as I had e-mail from her with her name already 
done big, it was a simple thing to modify it;

Well,... thats about all for now, I thank you all for your inspiration, 
as you can see the signatures are mostly a combination of original 
text-art, and modifications of others work. I think there is a great 
synergy in this art-form, and I will be most pleased if any of you can 
modify any of my stuff, hey, the mobius stip is the symbol used on 
recyclable materials, it would be great if someone re-uses it!

In that same vein, someone put up a very nice pickup truck, I have

Gosh! Almost forgot, two requests, 

1> I am working with pine, is there a way to strip of the headers as I 
save the signatures from e-mail I send myself as files, and do you 
understand a sentence that complex, and can you wiggle your ears and your 
nose at the same time?

2> You may have noticed that all the sigs where I put my name it is the 
same design, it is lazy I know, but I am working from a "dumb terminal" 
so I do not have a big-text generator program. If any of you could send 
me some varried signature sized "Donald"s it would be appreciated, and 
perhaps a few "Green Party"s might be nice.
