"Does it count"?  You're *allowed* to diddle somebody else's art, but it is
still nice to leave the original initials on, especially if you don't change
it very much...

That depends on what you're asking if it "count"s as. No, it does not
count as your own work if you change somebody else's work... But Yes, it
does count as an insult to the original artist if you do as such.
