hey - just getting into newsgroups now (go free isp account) and I'm wondering if anyone here can do a cow? I'm looking for a somewhat large cow for the intro screen to my mud hoping for something like the broadside of the body and the front of the face turned towards the viewer also, I'd prefer line art over ... umm.. the other kind. with solid patches. the mud is called Cliffs of Insanity, and if anyone wants to check it out the site's at http://cliffs.bhdnet.com/mud/ nothing to do with cows really but I got it into my head that a large cow would make for a good intro screen dimensions would be something like 80x20 .... so maybe the top half of a cow or something thanks in advance - painQuin

Typically it isn't a problem as long as you give the proper attribution, but in this case I'm not sure who the artist is. I checked the site where the original came from and there was no direct contact listed for "jrei", but you could try emailing the site creator by looking for the address at http://www.ascii-art.de/info/about/ . As for my "diddle", you are welcome to it with no credit.
