In HTML, you don't have to close off a <P>.  But you probably 
would want to include </pre> at the end of the ASCII work.
Otherwise the rmainder of your file will look like plain .txt.
And any HTML-checker would probably give you a "BAD HTML!" icon.

I've read some articles about how to do put the ascii art in HTML..
there is a very very simple method.. you can put the whole ascii inside 
your .html file, but before that use <pre> instead of <p>.. that's it!

For example:

[the ascii art here]

and if you wants to have better result.. you should change the background 
color to black.. and text to white..
