To use ASCII art on the Web, you need to have three things: 1 ASCII art that will look good displayed dark on light, as that is how it will be displayed on most graphical browsers. And it should be very good ASCII art too, as you are competing with GIFs on the Web. 2 You need to use <pre> and </pre> tags so that the ASCII art is displayed as preformatted text, and is not wrapped. 3 You need a monospaced font for ASCII art to look right. -- . + ' . * . .
