Just pick a unicorn out of the dozens that are available, remove the
horn, and you'll often have an okay-looking horse.

For some reason, unicorns are a more popular subject than horses.
Also, dragons are more popular than frogs, swords are more popular
than pens, and Star Trek is more popular than anything. :)

(Here's a horse extracted from a unicorn I drew some time back. The
contour of it is pretty vague, because I didn't know how to shape it
at the time. I still don't quite know how.. It would help if I had a
horse in my apartment, but I'd probably have to hoist it up the
balcony---it wouldn't fit in the elevator, and it would probably balk
at climbing up six stories of stairs.)

I didn't draw it, but here is one that was in my little ASCII collection:

I believe the horse itself was by Red Phoenix.
The cowboy is an added bonus.

Have you ever seen ...

... a plain plane?
... a dear deer?
... a bare bear?
... a whole hole?
... a night knight?
... a fair fare?
... a flour flower?
... a peak peek?
... a heel heal?
... a weak week?
... a hoarse horse?
