What newsreader are you using? Whatever it is, it is totally messing up many characters for other people. ASCII characters are showing up as five-leter combinations, starting with a +, ending with a -. For example, < (shift-comma) is showing up with "ADw" between a + and -, instead of <. > shows with an "AD4". The problem in his message is he is sending in UTF-7 (some version of Unicode *I think*) instead of ISO-Latin/8859-1 or us-ascii. Pras, make sure you change your Language Font from "Universal Alphabet (UTF-7)" to "Western Alphabet" so that other people can see you! (I saw it just fine though, even though I've had munged UTF messages before. Ah well.) >>BKNambo -- and that's just the way it is...
Hi there. I'm reposting this message, because the first one had some
problems... I'm sorry about this, but I didn't know my posts were turning up
like that with other newsreaders, because Outlook Express could read them
normally!
