I happened to drop by this newsgroup and got surprised to see how
marvelous sigs people make. I'd like to emulate them. Do these
increidible sig-makers use any software?, where do they find them?.

Please, help !!!

The figlet program at ftp://ftp.nicoh.net/pub/figlet/ is a classic example.
You can create huge titles/signatures with it, and even graphics if you
download the right fonts for it. (Example: eftiwall.flf) The huge letters
in my sig were created with figlet, the Sonic was found in this group
previously, I think. Here's an example of eftiwall.flf:

     /\ _ _ ,---------------------------------------.
    / \/\ (_)-(_) | No, I'm not in the Mickey Mouse Club! |
 /`/ / \ (o o) _)--------------------------------------'
------------ooO--(_)--Ooo----------------------------------------

Cool, huh? Just string together the right symbols to make the graphic. That
was %x>, where the % is mountains, the x is Mickey-Guy, and the > is an
Enter-Text-Here balloon.

If you use Windows then theres nothing easier than creating Ascii-art
lettering using the freeware program 'Siggen'. All you do is type in
your word, select your font and your Ascii art word is generated.

Or just use your imagination with it! Nice letters aren't everything.
