[DIS] ANSI display in HTML ?

I used to run an old BBS and I am making a "reunion" website for it.

I want the intro page to be the old ANSI/ASCII graphic log-in screen,
is there any way to convert this ANSI code to HTML (or do I have to
grab the screen and display a BMP or GIF of it?)

Any help would be really appreciated!!

It depends on what characters (and features) from ANSI are used by that
screen. Some ANSI graphics convert quite well into ASCII, others don't.
I have written some kind of Ansi2Ascii converter for my ASCII-Art
program JavE, but I have not finished it - so it's only available in the
developer version on my system (BTW: This converter also deals with ANSI
anmiations and was ment to convert them to JMOV animations).
If you want to give it a try you can post the ANSI graphics to me and I
will try to convert it.
