I am looking for 3d streograms.. they are acscii art but if you stare at them they turn 3d. please send me any links taht you have or any in your collection. thanx+ACE- -neil

Back when the Mars Pathfinder mission was still active, the NASA published
some stereoscopic pictures taken by the lander. I tried to render one in
ASCII. (You're supposed to focus behind the screen. If you prefer to focus
in front of it, just swap the halves in a text editor.)

Sure, they turn 3-D, if you stare at them long enough. What really happens, though, is your eyes cross, if you stare at them enough. This dee-stroys your depth perception, so you cain't shoot straight, in case of a cannibal a-tack. So, you see. The people who made those things, mean you no good will. JRO

Just look straight and you'll see 'em after a bit of zooming.. :-) (just move your head back 'n forth slowly) I myself have trouble focusing on the images if they're too close to each other.
