I am looking for a program to convert bmp. to ASCII art. I tried
searching the net but everything I download I could not get it to work

No emailing but: on a linux box, with netpnm installed say something like:
    bmptopbm yerpic.bmp | pbmtoascii >yerpic.ascii
If you are on a windows platform do at once switch to Linux! ;)
