AOL- ASCII ART (MACRO) CONTEST

We are bursting with excitement to inform you that  Moms Online has
another Macro Contest scheduled for Monday May 5th at  Moms Online Topic
Room Java at 10PM ET. 

The topic for this contest will be as follows:

First Category:  Best Mother's Day Macro Incorporating the Moms Online
name!   (First, Second and Third Place prizes to be awarded.)

Second Category:  Best Mother's Day Macro!  (First, Second and Third Place
prizes to be awarded)

Prizes for each category                                                  
                                       1st Place:			25
points
2nd Place:			15 points
3rd Place:			15 points


The Chat will be held in Protocol Format, meaning every artist will be
asked to type in turn if they want to play their macro.  A list will be
established for the order that macros will be played.  This will insure
that the macros get played uninterrupted for all to see.  Once the members
name is called, the member may then proceed to play their macro.  We ask
that you only play the macros entered into the contest, unless we have
time left to play others.  We will be greeting in Instant Messages and
there is no need to respond to the IM (this also helps the newbies know
what is happening).

Everyone is invited to participate.  Winners will be announced Monday
night at the Macro chat and the Winning Entries will be posted in  the
Macro Board on Tuesday.  

Entries must be received by Sunday, May 4th @ Noon ET and sent to MOMS
Wendy (who will forward them on to the rest of the Macro MOMS!)

Here are the rules for the entries:

* All Macros MUST be created bye YOU and have your signature on them!

* All Entries  MUST be e-mailed to MOMS Wen...@aol.com and must be received
by Sunday Noon ET on May 4th.

* All macros will be judged by MOMS hosts connected to Macro chats.

*Macros that are suspected to have been created by another artist and have
had the signature removed and/or exchanged are subject to
disqualification.

* We will be judging on two catagories:

1) Best Mother's Day Macro incorporating the MOMS Online name in to the
macro.
2) Best Mother's Day Macro.

Each catagory will have three winners who will receive points to be
exchanged at  MO Direct  or the  CyberShop .  For complete details please

* Macros will be played at the regular scheduled Macro Chat for the public
to see.  If the original Artist is unable to attend or get into the room,
we will play their macros within the last part of the Macro Chat.
