Knowing the platform always helps.  Go to:

	http://www.ualberta.ca/~crnelson/display.html

for the best viewer ever.  You can view just about anything with it, 
including ANSI.  It also writes ANSI files in 2bit, 8bit (grey), 8bit 
(colour), or 24bit colour from any format of image or movie.
