I got the whole idea with flying cards from seeing a:f's flying letters on his wonderful Ascii-art dictionary (I think it should be called an encyclopaedia instead though) I also diddled the wings from an angel by Ojo found in same dictionary. And I get a thrill everytime I see my work in it. .. now that I mention Andreas's site .. I have a big wish I would like some comments on. I would like to see a huge archive of searchable ascii-art like The Ascii Dictionary maintained like DMOZ.org does it .. OF the people , BY the people and FOR the people. Only, it would cost money and it would require a number of people who could and would keep working on it constantly for years. I doubt that ascii art can acquire the critical mass of committed persons for that. Just to get an idea: My own workload for my site is about an half an hour per day, either every day or accumulated to a busy night once a week. Plus the times when I surf other web pages too. And I believe that to be the minimum you can get - per person! More people would increase the quality of the collection but would not decrease the required effort - I think. :) Andreas
