Nice work, CJ.

I particularly like the envelopes and will try to remember to use one
next time... I had great difficulty getting this year's card into the
mailbox.

Thankyou .. I was hoping so much for someone to respond to my work.
It seems i'm desperate for attention when it comes to my ascii-art work.
Also because I loved it so much I really wanted someone to say "Hey .. nice
work, CJ."
I made me happy to see that you like it.

I got the whole idea with flying cards from seeing a:f's flying letters on his
wonderful Ascii-art dictionary (I think it should be called an encyclopaedia
instead though)

I also diddled the wings from an angel by Ojo found in same dictionary.
Thankyou Andreas ! .. I love and use your site often .. for inspiration and
admiration from and of other peoples work.

And I get a thrill everytime I see my work in it.

 .. now that I mention Andreas's site .. I have a big wish I would like some
comments on.

I would like to see a huge archive of searchable ascii-art like The Ascii
Dictionary maintained like DMOZ.org does it .. OF the people , BY the people
and FOR the people. (Where have I heard that before ?)

Ohh yeah I would like to thank the author of figlet and the author of the
invita font I used for this Valentines card.

And of course .. honourable mention to the girl I actually wrote this for and
sent it too originally. *sigh .. dreams*

You have a big heart Liz :)

Something I had leftover when I was done with the Valentines :
Some neat little underpants ! (Watch out for the gnomes)

.-----------------.
| \.-. .-./ |
| ( ` ) |
`-._ `. .' _,-'
    `-._`.'_,-'

`-._ \ / _,-'
    `-._\_/_,-'

If you got and understood my referal to gnomes .. please sound your voice :)
Then explain step 2 ;D

Kind Regards

Thank _you_! Of course this is the best thing that can happen to a
"collector": when the old pictures help to create new ones.

Ah, yes. That would be nice. And it wouldn't be too difficult either. Only,
it would cost money and it would require a number of people who could and
would keep working on it constantly for years. I doubt that ascii art
can acquire the critical mass of committed persons for that.

Just to get an idea:
My own workload for my site is about an half an hour per day, either
every day or accumulated to a busy night once a week. Plus the
times when I surf other web pages too. And I believe that to be the
minimum you can get - per person! More people would increase the
quality of the collection but would not decrease the required
effort - I think.

:)

I think it was a reference to South Park

But it could be that South Park got it from somewhere else too...
