Well, in addition to the ever popular alt.ascii-art, there's also:

	1)  rec.arts.ascii - moderated by the Scarecrow, ASCII art man
		extraordinaire, himself...

	2)  alt.binaries.pictures.ascii - although not as popular as
		alt.ascii-art and probably you'll see much of the same things

	3)  alt.ascii-art.animation - nifty things you can cat.

	4)  alt.3d - 3d ascii art is sometimes posted here


For more information, you grab the FAQ which is posted every so often on the
newsgroups. Those are about it that I know of...enjoy!  Hope to see you post
some things in the near future!

P.S. The problems with sigs like this is that it has such a short life

There is a group I've seen called alt.binaries.pictures.ascii
